Bimuno is the result of eight years of intensive research in gut microbiology conducted in collaboration with the University of Reading's Food Microbial Sciences Unit, headed by Professor Glenn Gibson, the Professor of Food Microbiology. Bimuno is a second-generation prebiotic, which means it is a non-digestible food ingredient that feeds and stimulates growth and colonization of beneficial bacteria in the gastro-intestinal tract. A number of clinical trials have been completed and subsequent trials will continue to be the focus of ongoing research in this very exciting area, which positively affects all our lives.
To learn more about how Bimuno prebiotic helps maintain a healthy gut balance and positively impacts your body's natural defences when used as an everyday supplement to your diet, please review the press releases and related links to more information about prebiotics and the research underway at University of Reading Food Microbial Sciences Unit.
