What is the difference between probiotics and prebiotics?

Probiotics are dietary supplements containing live bacteria. Prebiotics are carbohydrates that act as food for your good bacterial. Prebiotics are not destroyed or digested in the stomach or small intestine and therefore reach the colon where your good bacteria reside and hence contribute fully in promoting their effectiveness.

Why do I need to take prebiotics?

How do I take Bimuno?

Bimuno is available in powder form in easy to use 5.5g single dose sachets (sticks). It is recommended that you add a single serving to your food and drink on a daily basis. For children aged 3 to 11 years the recommended serving is half a sachet (2.75g). For children aged 12 and over and for adults the recommended serving is one sachet daily. Bimuno can be added and stirred into your daily food and drinks such as tea, coffee, cereal and yoghurt. It should be taken regularly as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
